$2000 a month anywhere I would imagine is basically a poverty wage. $24,000 annually? Yikes!!! Perhaps in the USA but in the UK £24,000 would be a very good wage, however don't forget that the difference in exchange rates mean that currently on today's (rather poor rate of 1.29) £24,000 works out a...Jump to post
Maybe this will steer WS away from the Euro business class plan and create something more substantial to compete with AC. I think HA is in a lot of trouble. Hardly. Even Hawaiian, which used to be adamant about connecting everyone through HNL is rapidly going WC-Neighbor Island more and more. Revenue went up. No nothing "declining". It's easy to pick numbers right? Their PROFIT declined. That's the bottom line figure of any financial statement. I know of some US airlines doing this as well...conducting spot checks on contracted cleaning vendors to ensure they aren't taking items off the aircraft (bottled water, blankets, etc...)
Seems petty but that does add up over time
Simple answer is No, if at any point you would be beyond 60 minutes from a suitable airport. While the aircraft may be capable, it is probably not certified per the airlines OpsSpecs and thus cannot be used as such. As a side note, it probably does not have the required Nav Data Base loaded into th...Jump to post

Well since the hammer has fallen and looks like WN is taking advantage until September for the used slots. LGB-DEN Will now be daily Instead of Saturday/Sunday only. So that's 4 OAK, 4 SMF , 4 SJC ,3 LAS and 1 DEN. 16 total with 3 daily RON in LGB. Latest Rumor is HA and DL passing on slots. So 10 ...Jump to post

HA has problems with their overall product. Small things here and there add up to an experience that is not worth the price - especially since HA charges a premium for their A330 first class.
