What do you mean?
Saw QR729 and AA280 parked at the North Cargo when I was returning from a trip yesterday. Always great to see, but feel sorry for those who must divert and even more sorry for those who have to go through the border patrol in Austin since it's pretty small and takes forever to get baggage.Jump to post

Tomorrow begins the BA switch to the 77W. This signifies the end of the summer season travel, and I'd be willing to say most AUS spotters are exited to see regular service of this bird! For the 747 service, which configuration did BA use on the AUS route? Low density 275 seat with high F class? Typ...Jump to post
Not sure if this was discussed here yet, SAS is scheduling one-way CPH-AUS-ARN route in March 2019: https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/281211/sas-schedules-one-time-austin-service-in-march-2019/ The link says "SAS during the month of March 2019 once again scheduled one-time serv...Jump to post
I don't know what the problem is with LH and Condor? Bad blood? When LH arrived at SAN, it seemed like Condor turned into cottage cheese and ran, now the same thing is happening at AUS! I'll bet LH couldn't run Condor out of LAS, Condor's fully entrenched there. As stated earlier in the thread, the...Jump to post
I think I'm looking forward to lower taxes on Lufthansa award tickets personally. The taxes to go to London get me every time. Not having flown on BAs 77W on any route, but flew on the 744 out of Austin in Economy, it will be welcomed as it was not a great experience. Norwegian in Premium is great, ...Jump to post
Lufthansa flights are now available for booking and they are higgggggh today. Looking at middle of May it is ~$2,100 in economy and ~$2,600 RT in Premium... hope it comes down over the next few months. Cheaper to Fly FRA-AUS though That's definitely on the high end but not exorbitant for the summer...Jump to post

From the standpoint of civil aviation safety, this makes a lot of sense when you think about the age of some of these aircraft. Yes, in recent years, aircraft have been flowing in through lessors, however, access to parts is another issue that needs to be resolved. No one wants unsafe aircraft flyin...Jump to post
Congrats on getting LH. Have a feeling DE won't be back much like what happened at SAN. LH > DE, so no worries there. Yeah, that's my thought as well. Looks like booking opens up on the 4th of October so will be interesting to see what equipment they send. Lufthansa's Twitter doesn't want to give u...Jump to post

It's been awhile, any news at AUS ? According to the KAUS twitter, they have completed phase 2 of numbering changes on gates 16-20 which changed to 25-29. https://i.imgur.com/OZYhqp1.jpg Outside of that, it looks like Norwegian booking is available from March 1st - 30th for their return in Spring 2...Jump to post
But, yes, I like @CarlosSi’s idea of using data to inform discussion instead of the usual a.net tendency to speculate that “there are 12 Vietnamese restaurants in a row on Research Blvd, so we can obviously support service to SGN.” I mean we just got an H Mart so time for a flight to Korea :wave:Jump to post

Interesting. In US English slang, "boost" is to steal ( http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=boost ). Exciting news for AUS! Service to both London airports and FRA on Condor. It's really too bad SAT doesn't seem capable of sustaining any type of TO service. No airline has ever tried it. With Condor being the only other option for part of the year and BA flights being nearly full most of the time, it'll be a welcome alternative. Not a fan. The colors are really too bright. The light on dark theme was easier to read as well as determine how things were grouped and organized. Hi everyone, I had a day trip up to Chicago yesterday and when I was leaving I noticed an airline at the international terminal which I hadn't seen before.
