Well this is great news for AA and BA travellers. Transfers will be a lot easier. Just out of curiosity though, what are the chances of AY and JL moving into T5 to join AA and BA? BA-AY-IB-AA have a TATL JV and I think it would make more sense. Also, BA-IB-AY-JL have the Europe-Japan JV.

If there’s an airline that is likely to shut down, it’s most probably going to be TG, MH and GA and potentially PR. I honestly don’t see airlines such as KE, OZ and even CX shutting down.

Some airlines do anyways right? I know Qatar Airways always does after boarding. Cathay Pacific also hands out antiseptic wipes on their first meal service and is often included in the cutlery sets. I have recently flown Iberia and those antiseptic wipes are inside the cutlery packs.
