I'm just gonna jump in and post what actually happened before this thread gets locked for the sheer ridiculousness it is: my airplane hijacked MH370...that rotodome on top? Yah, we can hijack planes with it. ;) Seems as realistic as some of these other "theories" I'm seeing. Count me in on...Jump to post
No surprise on DL canning most of their LAS focus ops...as it’s no secret it’s low yieldingJump to post
One of the worst aircraft ever was their MD11 configured with 409Y. The complaints we got on that one, oh my they were bad. Seat pitch was like 27" or 26" I think. Correct me if anyone knows better. Even the military only choose it as a last resort, but the aircraft flew all the time anyw...Jump to post

After receiving billions is US aid and then turns around and buys a European jet .... while we know that airlines should buy what’s best for them , the optics on this will be terrible. It's a realistic looking memo. Meanwhile, management has been making commitments that it will not file Chapter 11. I would put about as much faith in that statement from Doug as I would "we will never loose money again." No one could have predicted a Global Pandemic. It was still an incre...Jump to post

In before the mods close this thread and tell us to move over to a generic thread about AF/KL that already has multiple pages of other random stuff and just a little blurb about this important event...but it's obviously more important to merge ANYTHING having to do with AF/KL into one mega-thread...Jump to post
(slow clap for Boeing)
You'd think they would've had this fixed, corona or no corona, within a year...but so far, we've heard zilch
If they truly felt that uncomfortable, then frankly, they shouldn't have flown. I understand the concerns over the fact that we have a lot of unknowns during this pandemic, but the airlines are not obligated to destroy their economic bottom lines just to give folks a piece of mind. Blocking seats is...Jump to post
Anyone buying US domestic F for the catering needs their head checked. The appeal for me is the legroom; I'm tall and the ability to sit comfortably on a flight is much appreciated. Disagree. Often, my decision between F and Y (other than price) can come down to catering. IFE and widebody/narrowbod...Jump to post

Flew C-GSAT from LGW to YUL last June...I know most complain about the 3-3-3 config TS had on these birds, but it wasn't that bad from the third row of economy. Seat pitch was decent and the soft products were better than the VS flight I had going over to UK. Glad I got to ride on the 310 before she...Jump to post
First off, I think the proposition of AA filing Ch 11 is preposterous.
That being said, IF it does happen, Doug “we will never lose money again” Parker needs to be publicly flogged. And the airline should just call it and fold...
It’s a retired USAF 737. It’s used by law enforcement agencies for counterterrorism training. Spot on, end of story honestly. Flying LAX-DFW in a month, and it's upgauged from 788 to a 789.

I think DL's aversion to any 787 is coming back to bite them.

A Flyertalk thread on a survey is pretty thin as evidence goes. The whole Inc. /Matyszczyk shtick is to find something to complain about, as if no other possibilities can exist. That said, non-refundable/non-changeable tickets, 1 checked bag, and boarding group C at a discount of 20% would work for...Jump to post

Looking at it from a security standpoint I think this is a bad idea. Never mind the extra crowds. At least now, one has to already have purchased a ticket to access the sterile areas so t...Jump to post
