Flew SLM from POS to CUR last year on a 733...and the flight left ON TIME...no complaints whatsoever. But, as is the case with most airlines from that region, you roll the dice when you book tix and fly with them.

I seriously don't get this "Saturday only" schedule they always seem to put out...it screams of: "We'll add the route, but do the bare minimum, so that when it fails we can say we tried." Hence why OKC always gets the shaft on MCO and BNA.

too bad some new markets will be flown on 767s! oh, wow! not a good idea... :/ can't wait until they are all retired. I love the 76...but AA makes me hate it when I fly on theirs... I flew last year from TGD to CRL and my flight was definitely packed with Albanese people. It was easy to spot them particularly at the passport check in TGD where they were asked all kinds of documents... quite odd to see that in Europe. American's policy is to just take out the axe and start chopping - cancel as much as possible we'll pick up the pieces tomorrow. As opposed to their DFW policy where they start delaying everything that moves whenever there's a lightning bolt within 500 miles of the airfield. My own personal opinion...

I think that a 28" seat pitch is great. Not to sit in but it allows airlines like Spirit and Ryanair to do what they do best, get someone from A to B cheaply. If you want anything more than that you pay more. But having low prices puts downward pressure on the legacies. They have been selling ...

When they announced the refit, they stated that they were keeping the 3-3-3 because they felt that would differentiate them more positively from the other two of the US3. And I thank them for it...as I am one of the few who intentionally avoids the 777s as much as possible if they're 3-4-3 config.
