So it really flew over KSA, directly over Riyadh no less. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/ly971#255e1320 Just thinking big here. Could it imply KSA may be the next Arab country recognizing Israel? That would be big since KSA is the religious leader of the Sunni Muslims. If KSA moves forw...

Jump to postI really think IAH needs a couple of more European and Asian destinations (at least on seasonal basis). Jump to postThis doesn't surprise me, Hungary (outside of Budapest) isn't exactly rich (a lower average wage than Poland) and AA are far more likely to be able to win a fare war if they want to than the relatively small LOT (even with alleged subsidies). Jump to postAs stated in a post, why not just expand the present airport? It would be loosing face move a little bit, but might be cheaper than finishing out DWC. Think of DXB like EWR. It has pretty much maxed out the extension/expansion perimeters and is surrounded by a very developed and $$ infrastructure. ...

The only success of A380 is that Airbus will go down in history of aviation as the builder of the biggest commercial aircraft - that's all. Jump to postI wonder if adding south/southeast Asian destinations would impact the ME3, since it would obviously be more comfortable in economy to flight one 10 hour flight and one 6 hr flight rather than one 3 hour flight and one 14 hour flight, also taking into account lower fares. Jump to postBUD probably does need a nonstop to North America. The problem is, they don't seem to work. Business ties are not really that strong and it's mostly VFR. Jump to postHi Folks, Sorry if this topic has been discussed before, but I was wondering given the A380 capacity as well as the 747's successful Cargo-Liner history, how feasible would it be to have a 747-8 with all passenger upper deck and cargo haul below?
