According to the construction update for the July airport commission meeting BTV has now requested funding to replace both the North and South concourses. The document (link below) has conceptual renderings of the finished layout which will be much more streamlined than the current arrangement. http...

Today (6/3) appears to be the day that AA finally brings 'real' mainline to BTV, and it's a big bang with 3 different routes. I believe this is also the first day of UA's seasonal service to DEN and it is one of F9's days, so there are 10 mainline flights scheduled today: B6 E190 JFK AA A319 CLT UA...

This is inexplicable; If FR24 was projecting the flight path (after the transponder was shut off?) why would FR24 have it make a 20° left turn at that point? At the time it was over Crimea, it was a normal line, not a black dashed line. I don't think it was extrapolating from the last course; I thi...

A little while back there was talk of BTV adding a link to BOS- it was speculated to be either B6 or DL. Is this still a possibility or is it dead? This is a very good question. I'm still surprised at the lack of Florida flights so your thinking makes a lot of sense here. I won’t complain about having another daily connection option out of BTV, but the outbound timing (arrival into DFW at 9:45pm) is not great for connections to a lot of places. AA goes daily on BTV-DFW this fall. A nice jump from the Saturday only flight. Flight must be doing well. That's truly encouraging news. Re: MHT announce new carrier 16 June

On another note, it seems like NK is continuing to just go after WN on these Florida markets. As NK continues to add capacity on smaller EastCoast or middle of the country to Florida markets, what does that do to the legacy model where they rely on connection through ATL and CLT? This is going to draw a lot of customers from BTV who want direct flights to RSW/FLL

^^ Yeah I have never understood the 1x weekly flights, same applies for WN and their Sat. or Sun. only flights. This is one in particular with the late departure from BTV which leaves minimal connections is more puzzling. I would assume this route is mostly connections and yet they really only capt...
