Re: AA Phoenix to Tokyo?

A few Months back when the C.E.S. (Consumer Electronics Show) was going on in Las Vegas, AA ran daily non-stops LAS-NRT-LAS for a period of about 3 weeks. I kept checking the loads to non-rev over, and the flights were booked full everyday. Granted it was period specific, but the market is there. At...

Planning for a trip to Wick, I found this interesting. Wondering if there are any opinions and knowledge of what might be happening. From the chart shown below the map, it looks like a go around. Thanks.

Once all the gates are occupied, and you have no information about when they might open up, 1. If an inbound flight has the fuel then return it to its origin. 2. If the flight didn't have enough fuel to return, then divert it, if possible, to the nearest hub. Do you really think any airline could f...

Good for Southwest, at least someone made a decision! No power in the terminals or concourses, CBP. Security is closed. Are the electronic flushing in the restrooms working or on manual? Here is a video of the take-off on a 727-200, CLT-SFO. 47 seconds take-off roll, and by looking out the window, there wasn't much runway left. Very slow rate of climb, as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oD6JTmqprTw. Lot of interesting aircraft routings from the past. NE used to ply FLL-LAX-FLL...

All this money owed to the airlines, is it in a bank (Venezuelan, Swiss, Grand Cayman, etc.), used to purchase gold, foreign investments, in somebody's safe, buried underground? I'm really ignorant about such things, so for me, it is a serious question.
