Re: Interflug IL-62 Landing on a Grass Field???

I came across this You Tube video where an Interflug Ilyushin IL-62 lands on an unasphalted field. https://youtu.be/3EP2fgosJ0A Unfortunately, I do not speak German, so I am wondering if anyone can share more information about it. Pilot was the Interflug's chief pilot for IL-62s at the time (the Ge...

Doezs anybody happen to have a listing of which flights are getting the upgauge? I've some holiday I need to use before the end of the year... ;) Just start LH booking engine and look at the flight details. There is no special jumbo time. Add Sun Express to that list. They just operated AB6446 from DUS to TXL. Wideroe again is on approach to TXL as AB8247 from PRG and Air One is on its way from MUC to TXL as AB6206. C´mon there has got to be a reason. We are not talking about a few flights but some bigger changes. Same time a few AB ...

AB airplane shortage?

In the last couple of days AB flights have been operated by Wideroe, Alitalia, Travel Service, Wamos, Danish AirTransport and Privilege Style. Maybe even more than that. I have only noticed these flights and airlines. Has AB an airplane shortage? Is it cheaper to wet lease?

Come on, you live in Connecticut. Take a greyhound to NYC an fly with one of them. If you are looking for something older, than I ...
