Just in case you haven’t noticed already, there is a site wide issue that affects photo views, thumbnails and uploads. Devs are working on it and hopefully all will be resolved soon. Hi crew, it seems like something went wrong on the order of "top of the last 24 hours" ranking. Photos with fewer views are coming up above the ones with more views.

I do see some heat-haze on both right/left wings. Looking carefully the edges look waving.
Maybe downsizing to some 1,024pix wide is one way to resolve.
And I would say more contrast needed.

I think we should think of two problems separately. I personally think the suspending of screening is not a big deal and don't care how long it takes. Digital noise is well reduced and noise-like thing in this shot looks like raindrops in my opinion. I think that the plane looks a bit soft rather than over sharpened. I think it's a bit soft indeed...especially lower part of the fuselage. If I were editing this shot I would downsize to 1010 or 1005 pixels wide and add a bit more sharpness.

Congratulations! Yeah I'm so jealous! I spent over 2 years to make my first photo get into the TOP 5 in 24 hours, and it's still the only one in my 190 photos. Rejections....uncountable.

Hi Patrick.

To me the Delta 757 one is a bit dark, and all 3 of them are little bit soft. I would re-downsize them to around 1050-1020 pixels wide since they are soft-looking in 1200 pixels wide. Hope this will be a help for you.

I think you focused your camera on the buildings much better than the airplane. I've noticed that USM sometimes causes oversharpening especially on an unfocused subject.

Hi Wiliam The first photo is a bit noisy indeed, especially in the dark areas in the background. I would select only the dark areas and take a noise reduction. And I think the first photo is a bit "soft", so I would downsize it into 1000 pixels in height, and take unsharp mask. Regards, Akira Uekawa
