It was a shame more museums did not take advantage of the time capsule aspect of the TWA 880s. About the size of a DC-9, the wings could have been removed and the fuselage loaded on a flatbed.

The skydrol stains that you see stick equally to aluminum and composite surfaces. Dried stains that you are referring to can only be removed with solvent. I don't see why it would be very different from the NG. The 737 Jurassic had CSD, while the Classic had a VSCF. Apparently VSCF technology at the time wasn't mature enough that Boeing abandoned it in the 737NG in favor of a 757-style IDG. IIRC, the Classics also had IDGs. The VSCFs did not show up ...
