Alitalia Skids Off Runway On Landing.

Occurred at Fiumicino airport. No idea of type I am afraid. Apparently the landing gear failed to lower, but that could just be media speculation. http://www.trust.org/item/20130929194915-mhukz

[Edited 2013-09-29 13:...

RE: B767 Door In MEL

I know it wasn't a 767, but wasn't there a dc8 that was photograped landing with the cargo door open? I assume the principles would be the same in an unpressurised situation. That cargo door leaves a huge hole in the fuselage. I know that this opened in flight and that you would probably not want to...

RE: Report The Bugs Here - Part 2

OK, I have another strange one. At the bottom of a thread, if there are only a couple of posts that have not been read, I usually just click on them individually, rather than "show last 5 posts" button. When I click on them..... "pfffft" - they disappear! one by one as they are clicked on. If I then...

Just noticed another strange one. Trying to access "site related" from Civ Av, I get a screen saying that "This area is for premium members and above"

If I logout and then login again, I am able to access site related. (hence my ability to make this post!!!)

Hiya, Love the looks of the Van! With regards to the 172, there will obviously be the standard cert issues, but anything can be overcome. How old is the 172? The later the better as far as the wiring loom/harness is concerned) (BTW you may get a better response if you put this into Tech Ops)

The "unread posts" does not seem to be working on the majority of newer threads. However, on some of the earlier threads, it does still seem to work. I also am getting this - It seems to be especially prevalent on photos thumbnails that are linked into threads. If I click on the large or medium, I get the message that there is no photo in that database. If I then click on the other one, it sometimes comes up. Sometimes clicking on either Med or L...

Forgot to add. The night before the exam, make sure that you get a good nights sleep, do not cram the night before. If you know it, you will know it. If you do not know it by 11pm the night before the exam, then it is too late and cramming will not help. By all means preview parts of the books/discs...

If the price for oil keeps dropping, you fellas in the US should indeed see the price of pertrol at the pumps reduce, as the majority of any rise is directly due to the price of oil. However, here in the UK, we are not so lucky. Our pump price is not so heavily based on the price of oil. The majorit...
