I'm not questioning the financial resolve of the airport, just adding information that not all projects and work are continuing as planned, although it appears that most are for now. I think that is an important distinction to make.

Stay at home order was issued, I would assume no construction is allowed to take place for the foreseeable future Airside construction projects are proceeding. I don't think WN and Contour are competing for the same people here. Contour is trying to pick up some of the people who are currently driving to STL and BNA. Because of the short drive times, I doubt there are many people connecting IND/XXX/STL or BNA.

Peak was around 100 daily flights, a near 50/50 split between mainline and regional. Mainline destinations were: BWI, CLT, CLE, CMH, EVV, MCI, LAS, LAX, SDF, MKW, EWR, LGA, MCO, PHL, PHX, PIT, SFO, TPA, and DCA I am fairly certain the number was 147. 3. People drive like total morons through construction zones. The distraction and concerns while on the job is gone. Exceedingly true. Every time I work with contractors who don't have a lot of experience on airfield construction projects they always comment on how safe the work site conditions are...

Maybe they're just doing it temporarily while most of the vendors are transitioning anyway? IND gave out free reusable water bottles for a few days last year with their logo and slogan on them, much better than free bottled water IMO.

I'd like to see AC upgauge YYZ to the -175 before adding YUL personally. RDU is going from 4x CRJ to 3x 175 in addition to 1x YUL. IND-YYZ is only 2x and 3x seasonally right now though isn't it? Probably not enough demand for us to see the -175 yet, unless they did 1x CRJ and 1x 175.

I believe United IND to EWR has been Express for quite a long while, well before Southwest came in. Express does not surprise me but the use of 145's for many of the flights does... *AND* matching Southwest's fares. I think the route is about 50/50 e145 and e170, which would be rather annoying, but...

DL has been parking planes at A3 overnight, then tows the plane to A6. Same goes for N911DL which flew in from ATL and parked at A20, but will depart from A14 once DL 979 leaves for LAX at 7am. I think it's just going to be another large PUD (Planned Unit Development) like Anson in Whitestown. Developer comes in and basically builds a new "town" with residential, industrial/distribution, some retail, and office space (though the office spaces rarely ever happen).

The Colts used DL 752s almost exclusively last year. So far this preseason they have been on AA 772s. We'll see what happens for the regular season.

The IAA has long said that IND is an underserved airport, even back in the days of the NW focus city and record traffic.
