that is out of date. At one point in the past, they had a third party operating these as franchise on their behalf (AML) with 3-4-3. But they terminated this a few years back. It's all 3-3-3- now.

In the 90s, Virgin had a product called Mid Class, which I recall was like Premium Economy.

this has been discussed ad nauseam on other threads and the consensus of those of us who have flown this is that it is a very good product indeed - head and shoulders above any other J class with the possible exception of the various herringbone options nowadays.

the seat maps are almost useless, I am afraid. The Upper deck is correct for all 57 of the 744s. there is certainly a good chance. Other routes that seem to have good chances are Rio/Miami/Kong Kong and a couple of others. 17 out of 57 744s finished, with a new one ready about every 4 or 5 days.

The Metropolitan from Cologne to Hamburg via Duesseldorf and Dortmund. Now that was cool. Blankets, pillows and portable DVD players available. And the train won design awards for its stylish brushed aluminium and wood interior.

DVDs play about 3% more quickly in Europe than the in North America as the PAl and NTSC systems have slightly different frame rates. So an identical version of the same 2 hr movie will be over 3 or 4 minutes earlier in London than in New York.

Interesting. Some people will find that off-putting, if they have sensitive eyes or don't much like heights, or are jet-lagged and want to sleep at times when not everyone else does. I wonder if you can request the crew to lower only your blinds?
