Re: Somewhat confirmed: Delta ending contract with GoJet, Compass

The 6 I was referring were the ex compass aircraft that were transferred over which are Delta owned or leased. I'm not being snarky, but can you please provide a link to the write off so I can correct my notes and confirm it is written off. As for the Gojet A/C( the 7 cr9s), I thought when they wer...

Re: Somewhat confirmed: Delta ending contract with GoJet, Compass

Hmm, those must be the fastest months that ever happened in the history of the world. Took them next to no time before they started cropping up on the line. And if you seriously think a prior operator is responsible for a hangar fire in the new operator's hangar, then you can't be reasoned with, ge...

Re: Somewhat confirmed: Delta ending contract with GoJet, Compass

Many aircraft in Republic's fleet are much older than the Compass aircraft. There have been past aircraft moved from Compass to Republic (E70s) and they have not been problem child aircraft from my understanding. Well outside the months on end they spent in maintenance to get them upto standards be...

Re: AA Upgauges DFW-Key West to A319

“Just barely?” That’s just wrong. Most of the operational issues are getting into EYW and its associated self-imposed, company restrictions especially when the runway is wet. In 4+ years of flying that jet into/out of EYW, I’ve never been weight restricted either way. In fact, yesterday I took off ...

Re: AA Upgauges DFW-Key West to A319

It looks like on December 18th, AA will upgrade its 1 daily DFW-EYW flight from an E-175 to an A319. The route gains 56 economy seats and loses 4 first class seats. Yea but how many will be weight seats, DL just barley makes the 737 work to ATL with any kind of weather requiring an alternate, I can...

Well I think some of you are looking at this a little backwards, it’s not how much this will cost on existing routes operated by 50 seaters (yes I think there will be some of these swaps), but we should be looking where are they operating long thin high yield routes with 175 that can be swapped to t...

Good catch, isn't Columbus in the running for Amazon HQ2? A n/s flight to SEA is one of the requirements for Amazons interest, maybe it is being subsidized by CMH in hopes that they get the new HQ? As much as I like Columbus as I work there a lot I just don't see them getting HQ2, most likely they ...
