Your middle twitter link shows a protest march in Bahrain in 2011, as many point out, so not wholly applicable to the present situation in Iran. But that's twitter for you. I wonder, from several thousand miles away, who, if any, of the many who aren't in favour of the Iranian leadership are stoking...Jump to post
Wouldn't that be crazy expensive at an airport like LHR ? Or is parking on the apron not the same cost as a gate slot (ie: do the airlines only pay for the time they are using a gate?) Same question I guess for the airlines that park their planes all day long at airports like GRU, EZE or JNB Accord...Jump to post
4557203 Only a couple of photos this year and this was one of them. Perhaps the favourite because of the story rather than the photo itself. Looking at the timetable, in the same timeframe there are changes to a flight to Dhaka, the other flight to Islamabad, both flights to Lahore and the flight to Sialkot. After a long while....... I was in Iceland at the start of August, airbnbing in Reykyavik, Akureyri and Keflavik. Great place, just don't look at the prices. Outdated? Don't fall for the hype. A 2017 camera may be 2% better than a 2016 camera that may be 3% better than a 2015 camera at the consumer level. They have to keep bringing out new cameras to keep the money coming in, just like all the mobile phone companies do with their annual model changes. Yo...Jump to post

I was hoping to fly AA ORD-MAN in November, but I notice there are no flights anymore, everything is via LHR? It's become one of those seasonal routes, along with JFK. It doesn't seem to have been picked up yet with any flight tracking sites. Flightstats seems to be predicting it's over the middle of Libya, but on other sites Libya is empty of planes apart from on the coast. Past experience would suggest the sort who is brainwashed into believing that is the key to a better next life. In Ireland there's the Foynes Flying boat museum on the River Shannon (on the other side of the river from the present airport). The original terminal still exists, where the museum is. I expect, for operational reasons, it was easier to have a plane go back to where it started so it could be used on another service rather than have it tied up at the "wrong" airport for a long time and screwing up the next flight and the next flight it would have been used for.Jump to post

Having read the article in the OP, there is one thing that is not even discussed. Insurance. Will anyone be prepared to insure these things?
Gluten (wheat, oats) and lactose for me. With the former I used to get bad indigestion/hyperacidity as well as bloating, feeling cramped and what's loosely described as brain fog.
