Your report was quite enjoyable and the photos were very nice. I was in the AF/KL lounge in ORD last year and it wasn't as nice as LAX lounge. Also all the reading materials were only French publications. No Dutch or American mags or papers. Which delft house did you pick?

In New York I always stop at a hot dog cart for a couple of Sabretts. In Montreal there is a place called Orange Julep that has the best hot dogs that I've ever tasted.

I'd have to say that I prefer Jimmy Johns. Subway is alright andd Quiznos is disgusting. I used to love Blimpies. I grew up on them in NYC and they had the best tuna heros.

You might want to look into staying at the Vanderbilt YMCA if you're on a budget. I stayed centrally locatedonce about 20+ years ago and it was clean, had cable tv and lots of pretty European girls staying there. There is a really good Thai restaurant called Pongsri on 48th St just east of 8th Ave. Whatever you do stay away from Broadway Joe's (if it's still in business). I ate there once and the food was awful.

When I saw your photo of Madison Square Garden I said to myself, oh no he stayed at the Pennsylvania! That is one hotel that seriously needs to be imploded. The hotel was in the news last year for having a bed bug infestation. I did enjoy your report and the photos.
