Re: Jetblue A320 refurbish thread

It looks like according to FlightAware, Jetblue's newest A320, 834JB, flew to San Salvador as B66481 on January 29. Was this for a different reason than Phase 2?

Re: Jetblue A320 refurbish thread

A quick question: The 7xxJB and 8xxJB planes were delivered with the "refreshed" Airbus interior, including (I think) the newer overhead bins, LED lighting, etc.) which differed from the older 5- and 6-series. Are the overhead bins, etc. still being replaced as part of the phase 2 retrofit?

Hi All, I'm curious if anyone knows what is happening with JetBlue's A321 907JB--I've noticed it's been in MCO that past few days and FlightAware is showing it was scheduled to fly a bunch of flights that were cancelled, except for one roundtrip to BQN. There appear to have been a lot of delayed or ...

Re: Questions on Alaska Airlines 737-900

Thanks for the responses! The flight isn’t until this September (2019). It’s interesting because the Alaska website says the regular 739s do have the sky interior, but I guess it’s incorrect: https://www.alaskaair.com/content/travel-info/our-aircraft/737-900 With it being so far out, are you saying ...

Hi Everyone, I'm planning to fly on an Alaska Airlines 737-900 (not ER) later this year and have a few questions: -The seat map from which I chose my seat shows three rows of first class, while the seat map on the website shows four rows. Re: Jetblue A320 refurbish thread

Re: Jetblue A320 refurbish thread

One other very subtle difference: I’ve found that on the Airbii with the “new/refreshed” interior, the chimes are on the softer side (like the 777s) and there’s a delay between when, for example, the seat belt sign is turned off and the corresponding “ding” is heard about 2-3 seconds later. On this ...

I just flew on 627jb and the interior comparison is really night and day—it was hard to believe from the inside that the plane wasn’t brand new! I agree that the seats were generally comfortable (adjustable headrests are a big plus) but not as much as the old seats. Everything felt new and fresh. Th...

The JFK-ORH flight (676) arrives in the 11pm hour, and the ORH-JFK return (671) departs the next day before 6:00 a.m. I would imagine that the same crew isn't used due to the overnight turnaround.
