RE: Darn That Chinese Girl!

No, I'm not saying all guys are looking for sex (I've actually tried to say the opposite in previous posts). I should have been more clear... the girl can make the decision about sex just as much as the man can. It's a mutual decision. The girl can say NO, or the girl can initiate it. Same story wit...

Regional Jets are uncomforable and miserable? This coming from someone whose nickname is NorthwestCRJ? Regional jets are as comfortable as many larger planes for short distances. The fact that you keep going back to stating how you just cannot find a satisfactory girl for you that would go out with you is what has convinced me that you have this pent up anger over your romance situation. Yes, the larger ERJ's are very nice looking aircraft according to the specs. More comfortable looking with 4-across (on some) instead of 5-across. Seat pitch is better, nice overhead bins, large lavs, etc. As Boeing_nut said, don't knock it until you've tried it. The new larger ERJ's aren't going to...

There is little cockpit commonality between a glass-cockpit brand new MD-83 and a 1970 DC-9-30. Training would be required anyway. Regardless, the B717 is a great DC-9 replacement (as TWA and Hawaiian have used it). Jacob, what airlines with DC-9's and MD-80's do you specifically speak of that would...

True, the fleet commonality would have been there. However, the MD-80 series is no longer manufactured (save for the B717/MD-95). The MD-80's will start being retired probably before the B717 assembly line closes. No big Boeing customers currently have the MD-80 and the DC-9 (except for TWA, which w...
