The current livery features the colors of the Colombian flag and is the same template as the Vivaaerobus livery, which is now a completely different company.

It's low-cost and it's more neutral, reflecting the multi-national character of the carrier. It fits them well.

Most of SAL operations were O/D routes inherited from the TACA merger, so it's highly unlikely those would go, unless, of course SAL O/D demand abruptly goes down. IMHO, any decision re: SAL will be taken in El Salvador by Kriete group, part owners of AV, and not by some board executives in Bogota....

Efromovich doesn't have it, that is why he failed on his payments. Thus, UA took control of Efromovich's shares in Avianca Holdings. This deal has nothing to do with Avianca Holdings except that the shares that Synergy owned were used as collateral. But the deal was between UA and Synergy.

Indeed. That's probably a better reason to expand the codeshare via MIA. Colombia-MIA-Spain makes no sense with the amount of non-stop capacity being offered.
