Anecdotally, a brand new 600 rolling out the factory probably is quieter than a 15/20 year old 500 that had its insides gutted several times over and engines and props slightly out of balance over time. Having said that, I haven’t noticed any major cabin noise difference between a 500 and a 600.

3M could capitalize on this and start ANU a month earlier. At least people will be able to connect via SJU.

When LI used to run double daily BGI ANU more than half of the passengers were intransit to other points in the northeast Caribbean. The only connections that JY has available will be to EIS. Maybe when the next ATR arrives BW might do more BGI ANU, especially if/when they begin service to the US C...
