Obviously they're making the same mistakes Norwegian made. A base in Gatwick, they must be utterly crazy! Flying out of Gatwick, or anywhere in the UK for that matter, is just asking for high fares. In the late 1980s Air India operated a leased Il-62M for their services to SVO and I believe TAS.
Similarly Air France, KLM and JAL had a wet-lease arrangement with Aeroflot, co-operating Il-62Ms. IIRC it was basically an early form of code-share to allow access to Russian airspace for overflights.
