Re: The Rest of Ohio - 2019

CVG has posted bids for 12 food concessions and another sit-down restaurant. Looks like 6 and 6 in both concourses. Not sure if the concessions are new or replacements of current vendors. Chapel room is also being relocated to Concourse B to free up space in the main terminal. Also an interesting t...

DAY does it again. The average airfare for domestic flights during the third quarter of 2018 was $343.28, the lowest it has been since the Bureau of Transportation Statistics started tracking prices in 1995. But in Dayton, the average ticket is far from its lowest at $420.53 — $77 more than the nat...

I could see SWA adding ATL this year, giving DL a little competition on that route. Otherwise LAS/HOU.

Re: The rest of Ohio - 2018

I think both DL CVG-LHR/AMS would hurt CDG - but AMS more w/ the KLM hub. I'd say at least half of the DL CDG flight are probably going somewhere else in Europe/Asia/Africa. Add AMS, then all those people making connections have an option to go wherever is cheapest between CDG and AMS. And the reali...

Re: The Rest Of Ohio Part 6

The most recent flights on the F100's that I can find were 2001 to DFW. American also operated MD80'S/B727's/F100's to ORD and DFW until early 90's, when American Eagle took over everything. Sometime in the late 90's, they added back to F100's. This is all from departed flights. For me, post 2001 o...

Atlantic 757 Diversions Feb. 21

I think the 757's having to divert is a bigger issue than some of you are making it. There was a thread not too long ago about this and someone calculated that 50-60% of all of <acronym title="United Airlines (USA)">UA</acronym>'s TATL from Germany (and some other western European countries) 757's h...

I agree with the original poster. It looks like on average the flights are 2-3 hours late getting into <acronym title="Newark - Liberty International (EWR / KEWR), USA - New Jersey">EWR</acronym> when they make fuel stops. While this may not be a big deal for passengers connecting to places like <ac...
