Given the lack of a rail link to Eilat, and the move from ETH to ETM, this move essentially cuts it off for convenient travel. Eilat has never been a decent tourist attraction and now this dump is also hard to get to.

It seems to me that the main issue with the new livery is lack of harmony between the main scheme and the blue under fuselage and engines color. This makes the whole thing to look as an unlikely ugly combination of two very different things.

IMHO there is no commercial justification for such airport. There is not enough population in the entire northern Israel to justify substantial international operations in a new airport. It is better to invest in expansion of LLBG and Ovda, and improving the rail links to LLBG.
