Maybe someone with actual experience in a 320 can comment, but in the instances I’ve seen where we have mis-managed energy in a descent, throwing the gear *early* is an easy, effective way to increase drag, slow down, and get down. Gear speed in my airplane is a full 50 knots faster than flap speed...

Looks like the Chinese are really profiting from this virus. They now picked up 1/8 of the shares in the company for a relatively low amount because of this outbreak.

We did have one cup holder each in the A320, but in the B787 we have two each and yes you often use two. One for your water bottle and one for the coffee/soda

I don’t know much about Nissan but they seem quite boring.

I think M$ is becoming a cool company again after having a bad management previously. Unfortunately it might be too little and too late for them. They don’t have their own mobile OS which is what most people use most of the time these days.

Having landed in JFK many times, I think often the controllers add to the risk of mistakes happening as they sometimes have very little patience, especially with foreign sounding pilots, and may get irritated very easily.

I wouldn’t say there is a shortage, but at the same time, there’s plenty of job opportunities out there. Times are much better now than when I graduated.

Also, I couldn’t imagine doing any other job even when times are bad.

It does seem that the ever lighter interior is a bit fragile, or at least it gives that impression. Maybe we’ve reached a saturation point for how much weight realistically can be saved.
