Re: Personality Testing - Recruitment of Pilots

The industry favours personality testing over cockpit performance, for the simple reason that you can't really test pilots in the cockpit. It is just too expensive. Even simulators cost a fortune, and you will be lucky to have even an hour in the simulator at an interview. ??? What? Simulator testi...

Re: Personality Testing - Recruitment of Pilots

I’d say personality is more important than performance in cockpit to a certain extent as performance in the cockpit can be improved, but changing one’s personality is next to impossible.

But everything counts in the end.

Re: Why aren't empty flights cancelled?

At slot restricted airports, airlines can’t just cancel scheduled flights for such a reason or they will face heavy fines and revocation of their slot allocations. Speaking of empty flights, I’ve flown several empty B787s as ferry flights with just the captain and me onboard. Quite surreal. Takeoff ...

It’s only because I’m bored with iOS. Maybe I’ll switch back in the near future. The best combo you can have in my opinion is iOS on phone and dedicated tablets and Windows on PC. I felt like my Mac was never any good for anything other than surfing the web. Unless you’re a creative type. So PC it is.
