It was drifting in and out of coverage on FR24. Sadly it’s an all white plane. But it might just hang around AKL for a while so if you don’t get it on arrival, don’t worry!

To get an accurate rate you need to advise hours / cycle ratio / base airport, inc or ex per diems.

I used a 100-400 on a 600d, so you right that was likely the issue.

Thanks all for your help, i tried the 100-400 but that was a bit slow to focus - so i sold it. But i think you could be right about the lens,so i'll have a look with other options and see if that helps. Im shooting with apperture at 5.6 - 6.3, so will widen it out to 8.0 and see if that helps. final...
