Daily into LHR on behalf of DHL,
Same with EMA I believe .
Thanks for the report
Took several these AF380 Crew Fam flights, and enjoyed them all. Have even flew CDG-SIN on them too... Champagne in Y, but grumpy crew....
Any news on you BA777FO...?
Grim rumours re: LGW 777 flight crew circulating in the press a few days ago.
LHR-BOS & JFK & EWR. Possibly CDG as well. 10 aircraft used Ships 065-074, with international 1st class of the day. Absolutely terrible at carrying any payload westbound.... chopped freight and pax seats blocked out was very much the order of the day.! Used to vent fuel when fuelling to the ...Jump to post

Good questions and thread.
All I can tell you from my personal experience, was that I flew HAM - TXL on N806PA in Sept 86.... with a walk up fare of 54DM... about £18 at the time....
Plane was empty... 30 people tops.
(Return was on a PA 732, same fare...)
I saw that article. Can't believe BA pay some CC £70k and others £28k ... The legacy fleet should have been dealt with years ago . Zero sympathy. It’s called seniority .... Those people on the top bucks deserve every penny. They’ve helped put the company where it is today, and for the past 30 years...Jump to post
BA Cargo, Iberia Cargo, and Aer Lingus Cargo were all merged to form IAG Cargo a number of years ago. I work for BA Cargo on a BA contract but with all branding, management, sales, etc made at IAG level. Up until now the 12000 figure didn't include us, and we'd had a message from the Cargo CEO whic...Jump to post
BA are selling their art collection to raise cash, would this have been from the pension fund pot?
Good heavens I hope that last bit isn’t true. :( There are some extremely nice people working at Emirates. If anyone is feeling bad in that situation, please talk to someone, reach out for support. You are not any less of a person. It just means you are human like we all are. I know that’s a bit aw...Jump to post
Very sad to hear of the trials of current BA staff. I worked for BA in Europe for 29 years, and was made redundant 3 years ago, along with nearly all the locally employed engineers. Luckily I was about a year from retirement, so I retired earlier than expected. But even then the shock and uncertain...Jump to post

I called forgetting gear down a couple of days ago, but, no one seemed to take me seriously....
Anyway, what’s even more astonishing , is that they managed to scrape the aircraft for around 2500ft Along a runway, on its two motors, and then take off again.... Totally mind blowing decision making.!!!
For now, the 77W is bringing in useful and substantial amounts of cash from cargo. As I understand it, the profit from these flights is made by IAG cargo, and not BA. They are just paid the operating costs, with IAG Cargo being the Company that benefits, and shows on the yearly returns at IAG Mansi...Jump to post
T5D...? And where do you suppose that is going to go...? There’s is no room for that., and all the stands around the fire station /EAA/ fuel dump are already in use,and currently served by coaching. As for the airline moves., this is being pushed by HAL.... supposedly short term, but who knows., oth...Jump to post

Now that there is sooooo many spare frames around the world looking for a home... Old 319’s 146’s et al, surely some can make there way to Havana...? I know I know that you’ll say embargoes etc, But if Iran can fiddle the market place, I’m sure Cuba could too, which seems a little more pally with th...Jump to post
And don’t forget the 3 that CP air used in the mid 80’s. These birds made it to Europe. Believe it was a swap/lease with CP’s 742’s ..? Close ...if I recall correctly, CP took 3 UA DC-10-10 to operate YVR-YYZ/YUL in exchange for 3 of their own DC-10-30 sent to UA for their SEA/PDX-NRT route ( prior...Jump to post

I was sent these videos 90 mins ago, just didn’t know how to post them.
Let the rumour mill begin.
You're all seeing this wrong. This was the moment this 787 had been waiting for! He had found the courage to finally express his love for that A350 and to kiss her on the cheek in the pouring rain! :couple: Airplanes can fall in love too! And they lived happily ever after :cloudnine: Il have a puff...Jump to post
That video is wild, plane just turns and moves in the opposite direction of the wind? Unless I’m blind and mistaking the wind direction. Could also not be a perfectly level surface or something, idk. Wind has hit the tail causing the spin of the 787, with not much weight on the nose, and the MLG ac...Jump to post
