Sorry..... I’ve missed something here.. What exactly do BACF need an BCS1/3 at LCY for...? The JFK will almost certainly stop when cross rail opens in 12 months or so. The Ejets already fit well into LCY. And are capable of pretty much all BACF needs. The BCS1 is a squeeze.... The Max is replacing L...

AFAIK, the 350 will be daily on the MAD route from 1st Aug, maybe a day or two earlier , then double daily prior to the YYZ and DXB services...

Why should HAL give a foreign airline so much.?
VS is 80% owned outside the U.K.
VS are not the VS everybody grew up with.

A 0,5-1 hour ferry transit is more pleasant than a flight in a 19-seater to the island. Its much cheaper, And The ferry doesn't disrupt the quietness on the islands.

Don’t forget the cabin maybe empty but the cargo is full. That is where the money is. They import everything from around the world. I was at JFK one evening and I could not believe the amount of cargo being place on a EK A380. Can I just say... A380’s are not known for there cargo carrying ability’...

I assure you Etihad are not flying empty planes around. Probably this flight was cancelled and everyone but 20 rebooked, or it’s a positioning flight for the plane or something. I was on an Air France A380 SIN CDG with about 20 people a few years ago, it doesn’t mean Air France have low load factor...

Think one of the problems was the flight times....
Everyone had to night stop in BLL,
Also, BOH is not the easiest airport to get to.
Shame the flight never went ahead.
But at least it’ll be around in Europe for a few more years.....

Why on earth they ever stopped the GOT-LHR route is beyond me....
I use this regularly on BA , and the load factors are always high...
Yield , i don't know, but if it wasn't making money, they wouldn't of added the 3rd service when SK did a bunk.

Believe the bird strike was on arrival into Male.... which subsequently delayed the Rtn sector,and crew hours limiting the aircraft to BUD. As an aside.... MNL is restricted to certain times of the day for A380 ops, so.... sometimes the BA A380 Will position to Clark, (as cheaper than sitting at SIN), then wait for the appropriate arrival time at MNL.
