Re: Only 1 operational 747-100?

An enthusiast flight on that -100 very nearly happened a couple of years back, a friend of mine was signed up for it- very expensive though. As for Sam, some of his actions at Mehrabad (Tehran's domestic airport) probably didn't earn him any favours Never had any trouble at Mehrabad, infact totally...

Re: Only 1 operational 747-100?

Years ago, when everyone was popping down to Iran to fly on the Saha 707’s ( read Iranian Air Force) there was a strong rumour that the 747’s were to take over some of the domestic flights when the 707’s were pulled from service. As we all know now, that never happened , and Saha ended up flying a c...

Think the last ever 777-300ER is just about to roll off the FAL. Can’t remember if it’s a KL or SU frame.
Line to be kept open with 777F’s .

G-LINK was the S61 that operated the LGW- LHR route. One way walk up fare was £8 iirc, As others have mentioned, the M25 wasn’t complete at that stage, so the road route took a little while, approx 2-2.5 hours by the famous Green Line 727 coach. B Cal helicopters always operated the route as far as ...

BA is doing JNB-LHR-STR with car parts and STR-LHR-ATL with car parts. Nothing to do with Brexit. Sorry GCT64 ..... this is ABSOLUTELY BREXIT related !!!!! All U...
