Ben,

Sorry but image is slightly soft overall, but there are Jaggies along the wings, around the cockpit, and titles. This all points to heat haze effecting quality of the image, The fuselage also looks overexposed.

The car is more prominent than the helicopter, You could've moved slighty to your right and photographed it without the Audi being in the shot.

Motive rejection is valid.

Derek, There are no raise grass areas along the runway for photography, However you can use a small step and shoot through the fence, or book a room in the Renaisance Hotel. Both the F-18 images are suffering from Blur, and are also soft. The second would also need more contrast.

The ERJ is ok but the nose could do with a little more sharpening.

This images is Soft, especially forward fuselage and nose. As well as the significant vignetting there are lots of strange lines in the sky.

As Mick has correctly pointed out, there is a lack of contrast, the blacks are grey. Slight oversharping of areas to compensate for motion blur. Boost the contrast and re-submit.

The front nose section inc fins and landing gear appears to be a little soft and grainy. There is also a visible dust spot in the rotor blades to the left of the image.
