EWR is my home airport, Currently the only passenger 747 is Lufthansa's 747-8. EWR is home for the 767,777, and 787 with a speck of A350 LOL.
Jump to postFor everyone complaining about the current state of EWR, Do you live there? Its an Airport, Your there for a few hours. Your will survive. Once JFK and LGA are completed, you might see EWR completely redone.

Having grown up around EWR, Absolutely there was a United 747SP or 200 parked at Newark everyday. As for thier destinations i'm not sure. This was the late 80s early 90s.
Jump to postAhhh, the author is jumping the gun on Murphy's recreational Marijuana bill, Unless the FEDS pay 100% of the bill, Which they won't. We will never see a New Airport in NJ. We are broke and OVER TAXED. Keep it moving, As for high Speed rail, another myth. As of right now Amtrak and NJT can barely hit...
Jump to postCargojet has an almost daily flight from KEWR to TXKF using a B727-200, I'm fortunate to see it fly over on a regular basis, Brings back fond memories of my first flights on Continental 727s to the Bahamas.
Jump to postIf most modes of transportation these days have cameras, why not have the cabin completely covered? Your Uber driver has a camera on you to cover his ass, why not the airlines?
Jump to postI hope to god the Cruise lines have common sense and hold off for a good while. I understand the Island relies on Tourism Dollars, But the Island is destroyed, there are NO hotels, NO beaches. Jump to postI hope to god the Cruise lines have common sense and hold off for a good while. The last thing the island and Isl...
Jump to postThis emotional support animal BS is getting out of hand. Do I agree with allowing service animals on public transportation, Absolutely its the Law. Jump to postWhat is a Kel Tec pistol made out of? Must be something that an X-ray machine wont pickup... Kel tec pistols are made no differently then any of the big manufacturers. The gun he was carrying is similar to the Ruger LCP or Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 380. If his statement about carrying 30 to 50 tim...
Jump to postSince your saying its an EK crew , MAYBE Neatly trimmed beards are allowed for religious reasons. As of a few weeks the NYPD loosened its rules on facial hair on the grounds of religion. I would love to grow a beard but my department doesn't allow facial hair other then a mustache.
Jump to postJust loving how Europe, especially UK, are getting invaded by Jet Blue A321neo LR and SW 737 Max 8 plus Norwegian 737. This is at best a limited market from the North east to really western Europe. People want cheap but they also want nonstop and try doing a DFW, LAX, or SFO to MAN or LGW with a na...
Jump to postI've been very fortunate to have had only good experiences flying JETBLUE. If the price is right, I will gladly fly JETBLUE over the pond.
Jump to postLast I heard, The 77W's would all be based at and flown out of EWR.
Jump to postAre there more loose laws regarding unauthorized people entering areas of the airport where passing through security is necessary then there are in the US? I would imagine if this happened in the US, they would have rounded up these misguided souls relatively quickly. Thats what PR24's, OC spray an...
Jump to postAfter translating the story "not the Clearest" The bullet ended up lodging in a suitcase. The story isn't very clear, But bad handling of the weapon by the Officer. Possibly dropped the magazine with out clearing the chamber then pulling the trigger. Have to wait for further details.
Jump to postLike others have stated, Key West is not made for the masses. Just one cruise ship in port is chaotic enough, let alone 2 or 3. Now tack on the flow of Increased air traffic. This only means the end of Key West as we know it. At least with the ships the masses leave in 5 hours or less. A couple of 7...
