I feel that BA’s recent network decisions (adding smaller cities such as AUS, BNA, MSY, etc) point to a need for 787/350 type of aircraft, not A380s. Doesn't AA own the most corporate contracts on the NY and LA ends? Hence, the most premium offering. UA has the premium config 757s on a lot of flights, but less so than AA. I don’t see the PPT crowd wanting to head down to TIJ first. Either from Paris or San Diego. If you live in San Diego region or anywhere south of LA, who the hell would want to make their way to very congested LAX, when CBX is on south side of San Diego. Nobody wants to go to Tijuana to get to PPT....

Meh... I live in Glendale but am not upset by Burbank's new "super majority" rule. Burbank is by far the most impacted from a noise/traffic/pollution perspective. Glendale and Pasadena benefit from the airport but are not impacted by any of the negatives.
