In a perfect world the 787 would be perfect as the only widebody in their fleet but as we all know this is not a perfect world. And as mentioned earlier in this thread they are not in a position to go to that solution in the near term.

My guess is they will only do LAX and SFO to JFK.

People connecting in DEN or IAH would rather connect to LGA if they're going to Manhattan and EWR if they're making a connection.

The Cessna 172 definitely has a distinctive smell that reminds me of an old auto repair shop.

On passenger aircraft it often smells like burned coffee (Like the pot would smell if all the liquid evaporated but the heat was still on).

I just don't see the point in this. If Delta wants 350's that bad I'm sure they could get them on their own without Qatar's help. Unless Qatar is paying Delta to take them, which doesn't make sense either. Qatar could just defer them.

Worse case scenario I can see Airbus only producing A320 series and A350 series and Boeing only producing 737Max (yes, it will be back) and 787 plus military 737/767.

I will make a prediction that Boeing will cancel the 777X. Very unlikely. It's already developed and in testing. Most likely they will let customer defer deliveries or switch to 787 and cut production down to the bare minimum (Worse case scenario 6 frames a year) until orders start to pick back up.

I had a connecting flight on AA from PHX-PVR and they were overbooked by one passenger. They offered a $360 voucher to fly the next day and there were a lot of laughs from the crowd in the gate area.
