I just did a very rough count, there are about 2150 active 737s and 1600 A320. I didn't count RJs. Regardless that's probably something like ~8-10k cycles per day for the 737 fleet, so plenty of chances for something minor to go wrong. Driving to the airport is still about 1000x more risky than getting on a MAX...while Boeing has issues I'm not going to lose any sleep over flying a max. I'm far more likely to be killed by some moron in an oversized truck while on my way to the airport.

Plenty of traffic in an out of MSP currently, she has flown past MSP and looks like she is indeed heading to DEN. The flight from SEA to DEN climbed straight up to 41k feet, so certainly looks very empty.

There are currently only a handful of Max 9s in the air. Copa has 3 outbound and 2 inbound, interestingly the one from Curacao never went above 10k feet according to fr24. Icelandair has 4 going back home from US, and there are 3 SCAT in/out of Almaty.

One thing that may see some focus is the ARFF response. That Red Air crash at MIA saw a very fast and very aggressive response from ARFF. Granted we're not talking about a runway collision in MIA, but the level of response at MIA seems much more intense. I don't think that will be much focus at all...

European airspace is not closed to TK, Russian airspace isn't closed to TK, Turkish airspace isn't closed to Russia...seems pretty simple.

I'm a Russian citizen, should I be forbidden from travelling above EU airspace just because of that fact alone?
