I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this or it's been announced but I'm not seeing any non-stop flights on AS to either PVR or SJD from PDX in the first week of December. I thought the seasonal flights usually begin in November.

PDX released their August 17 stats. Pax up 5.2% from last August. 1822575 v. 1916745. Up 5.7% year to date. Freight is up 11.7%. That’s healthy to see! Up 5.5% year to date. The last time I came home, the HAL Hangar was still fenced off. When is the contractor dispute over the HAL hangar going to be resolved? Also when are they going to move Island Air so they can do the mauka concourse

Being from Hawaii both airlines are great to fly. However one question I have to ask is what airline or airlines do you have a lot of ffm with? You can earn United miles on Aloha and American, Northwest, and Continental miles on Hawaiian.

I don't live in San Diego so I don't know any of the issues, but wouldn't knocking down the parking structure help out significantly? Wouldn't that allow the planes to use the full length of the runway? I don't know but what's going on down there but to me that makes the most sense.
