Re: Spirit to Launch MIA with 30 Routes

Miami has lots of space. All common use, And they have some very old gate areas that are lightly used. Until F reopens, they’re maxed out. E is full with AA, JetBlue, and some international carriers. G is full with Southwest on the west side and Frontier on the east side. H is full with Delta on th...

Re: Spirit to Launch MIA with 30 Routes

MIA has really hit the jackpot this year. Congrats to them. That said, some of their facilities are quite dated (especially F and G). We'll see what happens on that front. Apparently MIA is taking advantage of F’s closure to remodel the interior. G received a modest facelift when it was closed too....

A CDL is not required to be an aircraft fueler or drive a fuel truck on an airport. It is an off-highway use where a CDL does not apply. I think that after the many episodes of bad publicity (probably the most infamous being the dragging of David Dao at ORD in 04/2017) UA is trying to buy back customer trust through these actions. Most definitely a good try to reposition itself as a premium brand. Does the average traveler really re...

No arrivals between 5:42pm and 7:00pm at MIA demonstrates how bad the storms are. Why did you jump to the 737MAX as the cause? Southwest cancelled everything departing MIA after 13:00 today for a total of 13 cancellations.
