Frankly I wouldn't be surprised to see AA close one of their ACs permanently, especially given that they are constructing a new one on the new regional concourse. While I don't doubt DCA has great levels of premium traffic, I question the need for each AA concourse to have its own individual club.....

There are always at least two pilots in the cockpit except for the rare times when one is in the restroom. If the transatlantic flight is too long (usually over 8 hours) a second crew with two additional pilots will also be onboard to share the flying time.

"reportedly because the strong winds had nearly run its fuel dry" - what ever happened to taking pride in journalism? The fuel was not "nearly dry". Like most journalism today, they focus on the negative impacts on westbound flights while barely mentioning that flights going east...

I saw those on my last takeoff from 22L also. I think they are Siemens cars bound for VIA Rail?
