I'm not sure electric planes will catch on other than light a/c. However I do think this concept looks great . Love a 4 engine look on a prop liner as previous said looks like a dash 7 which is no bad thing

With Vs pulling out of lgw and BA scaling back. It may be if they could hold on to next year they might be in a good position . A lot depends on how long this madness carries on though . Just impossible to run an airline with constantly changing restrictions at present

With massive order books and aggressive expansion . Is wizz in danger of becoming another Norwegian ? I like their positivity and drive to get demand but it is a high risk strategy . Even MOL has had to cut back

I was reading about European aviation group operating old Vs and Etihad a340s for cargo acmi based in Bournemouth . Is this any relation to the Eac that went bust 10 plus years ago ?. I remember EAC used to run 747 into sfb for a couple of years .

I can see why closing one of the bases makes sense but not both Sen and STN . No real.driving force at this airline to make good decisions . I like it quarantine on you're way . I'm surprised Cunard haven't marketed that yet .
It is a nice drawing . I think to deal breaker with commercial supersonic travel will be in engine development . The reaction engines hybrid jet/rocket looked promising l, not sure where that is now

Iv always thought it odd when most of LHR traffic goes onto somewhere else why lgw couldn't be a hub . Before low-cost you had bcal hub and Dan air had a massive presence . They Def should get a bail out . Af is getting bln of euros so is alitalia why shouldn't virgin . They are more of a British airline than wizz air who have secured 300m . Hopefully virgin will find a buyer . I think in the long run they should do well

easyJet owns quite a few aircraft which could be used as collateral . Looking at Vs earlier posts not much backing for a loan as assets have already been used to finance. Not sure what deal would have to be . Take over share in airline . I guess the finance bods in uk gov are looking carefully at this

Just announced to the city gov to loan easyJet 600m . Takes cash reserve to 2.3 BN from start of April . I assume loans to airlines will be based on how much assets they have . Not sure if virgin is getting the same ?

He's had tantrums before really didn't like any expansion and also the company not getting Boeing's. Thinks the deal offered by Boeing was better. No point keeping the old 319 frames when could be replaced by 320. There aren't many deliveries due this year anyway. Maybe if demand post Corona is down...

I imagine it will be like the banks scenario as in uk where gov money bought out shareholders but they operated independently . When times were better they divest themselves of these shares and return companies back to private hands

Doesn't the original part of Norwegian fly subsidies routes in Sweden and Norway? The government will have a vested interest in keeping these routes open. I can't see them however pumping money into the other aoc . I don't think that would be in the intrests of tax payers
