My last major big purchase was my new house and a remodel downstairs for my disabled daughter, which includes a shower wetroom, a carers space, bedroom and ceiling track hoist.

Total outlay was $600000

But it was worth it.

As a family we've owned 2 Samsung American style fridge freezers. All went wrong roughly 2 months after the warranty expired.

For household appliances now, we either buy Bosch or Siemens, apart from the cooker, which is a Rangemaster.
