The 24-70 F/2.8 is a really top quality lens but it is expensive.
24-120 may be more versatile but for me, 24-70 every time with the F2.8.

Actually having a constitutional monarchy has worked fairly well. You have a non party political head of state. The politicians all secretly hate it. Jump to postI think the article hits on an interesting point, about the "type" of noise complained about. Jump to postIndeed, but I was shooting 320s at 50-60mm and it just wasn't happening as the winglet would be moving relative to me much faster than the rest of the aircraft (or the tailplane would be blurry due to the vibration). Not a lot I could do, irrespective of whether my technique was any good or not. 20...
Jump to postJust to add that having IS/VR (or whatever you wanna call it) turned on for panning is better than having it turned off. But it is not the magical tool some think it is. It is subject to physics, like everything else. I used to relieve the boredom between movements at my local by doing panning shot...
Jump to postFor example, if an aircraft is rotating on the runway, you will see two movements: one is the aircraft rolling on the runway, and the other one is the aircraft nose lifting off the pavement, so those different motion are very difficult to "copy" with the camera. Precisely. Too many photog...

Jump to postHello all. This is particularly for my fellow Nikon photogs. Jump to postWhatever light you have available make sure it is behind you. If things are dull, keep the aperture up around f/8.0 and try to follow the plane smoothly as it goes past. This will hopefully get you a panning effect and at say 1/100sec it should be sharp from edge to edge of the plane. Slower than th...

Socialist big government intrusion into business.
Not good.
I did some digging on reddit for a few minutes and see others being shared on there too fairly frequently.
This is all getting way too competitive. Is this a hobby or a business? Put the cameras away for a while and see that things can be enjoyed without being top 5 or photographers choice.

Jump to postI can’t help with Nikon NX-D, but I can say that most people are using photoshop to edit in.
