Re: Most annoying car features

A lot of old cars had column shifters - even mid 50s vintage. I remember the early 70s when a floor shift, especially "four on the floor" or "t-bar auto" were a big selling point for sportier models. More standard was "three on the tree". Five speed column shift manual...

Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with SUVs. 90% of them are pointless. 4Runner, Forester, etc, I get the purpose but things like the Taos, Corolla Cross, Nissan Kicks, etc,. they serve no purpose. The Taos for example, does nothing that the Sportwagon didn't already do. The majority of them are ...

I agree with the complainant- this is the only way you'll get your money back. Having an airplane impounded will get the airline's attention. Yes, this is the way with airlines. The heavy handed approach is the only way. Otherwise they will behave in the “we are bigger than you, what can you do” ma...

Re: How to: Take Air to Air pictures from Airbus Cockpit?

I doubt the OPs camera equipment is the issue, it’s more likely the windows in the plane itself. If possible I’d be constructing a makeshift hood to go over the front of the lens that can block out stray light and reflections from elsewhere in the flight deck. One end attaches to the lens, the other...
