EK's possible future?

It is with no doubt the everyone is feeling the substantial impacts of the COVID outbreak, thus what is to be felt. However, for some it is different, and the road might be longer towards financial stability than for others. 9/11 and the volcanic eruptions were single events, where as the COVID is o...

Re: Does A330neo really suit Emirates?

Yes i do, for both regional and long haul routes with shy demand...however it's far from ideal. The flex from EK of keeping their airline a wide-bodied operator, is going to be a questionable decision for the future. EK went from being a 2 type-aircraft operator until Nov '17, where it went from (te...

To be honest, I'm not sure why even EK decided to slam a weekly service with a 77W into EDI anyways. So I'm not surprised to see it drop to 5.

It'd be more likely for EK to start service between Dominca than anything new into Canada.

EK's DXB-BCN-MEX has been postponed and will not commence any time soon as it stands. New allegations from US Admin.

The Future of EK

A lot of questions remain at high interest after EK's turbulent time over the past months. High employee resignation rate, uprising loss of possession in AUS market, B787-10 order (somewhat too late) and dying flame in the future of the A380. What are we to expect from the legacy over the next upcom...

Well it's more or less a matter of time until they'll have to let these Il96's go, since the chances are slim to non that it'll get any cheaper to operate this beauty. A D-Check on a Il-963 would surely be looming above on the $20m mark; excl. operational costs and ferrying, and for an airline like ...
