Any non-stealth plane that goes air-to-air with a stealth plane is almost certainly going to lose. An F-35 pilot is going to use his superior sensors to avoid close-in dogfights because he or she has better things to do. That's correct unless you have meddling politicians that make restrictive ROE....

The concept is entirely different than the Zumwalts. It's an AAW destroyer with some ASW and ASuW capabilities. It doesn't have the six inch guns. All ships are having stealth featuring built into them.
