South Korea would need to be very careful in how they engage in any conflict to defend Taiwan. Their belligerent neighbor to the north is pretty dependent on China for economic support, and I suspect Beijing would lean on Pyongyang to start hostilities and keep South Korea from meaningful contribut...

I was driving by DTW today and saw a TUI 789 taking off for Stuttgart. Checking Flightaware, I saw this is the third flight since last Thursday. Are they cargo-only flights? I checked to see if any German Army units were training at Camp Grayling, but nothing showed.

The armored vehicles were probably ones especially built for A-stan/Iraq ( MRAPs etc.) and worn out and probably not needed anywhere else.

I think China screwed up bigtime by ending the Hong Kong agreements early. They were doing a decent job seducing the Taiwanese but when that happened they went back to square one.

The Amazon drivers in my area for the most part are rude and unprofessional while the UPS guys are the direct opposite. Exactly! Yet, UPS has no problem competing and even outdoing their competition, even with the significantly higher wages. There's something to be said for loyalty and experience.
