Its my impression consumer protections seem rather weak in the U.S., and airlines can wilfully ignore rules for years, and even if caught pay minimal fines, and it's over.

I would not lend to much weight to the TG CEO comments. His appointment ends in January when a permanent replacement is due to be announced. The new permanent CEO can review things and hopefully come to a more rational decision.

Timings seem quite normal for that part of the world.

Such timings are meant connect well with PC flights to/from destinations in Europe via SAW as you mention.

Strange, who would be seriously interested in traveling to China right now? It’s not only the arrival quarantine. A colleague had to travel from Beijing to another province and had to stay in quarantine for three days. So what’s the point in increasing the frequencies? Maybe more private trips to/f...
