Best I can tell it's domestic routes that are almost all mainline, DTW, CLT are the only ones listed with a mix of mainline and ERJ-175s. Perhaps those ERJ-175s will be replaced with mainline. ANA is not adding these flights back hoping to bring US visitors to Japan. They well know this is unlikely in the short run, but instead to provide broader 6th freedom network connectivity and also to better serve their local home clients who can travel overseas.

I really find it amazing how bad labor relations have become at Lufthansa over the last several years.

The number of job actions and war of words between the company and labor unions is astonishing.

So much for that concept of reliability that LH worked hard for decades to forge.

In Europe, there is a big push to reduce business travel due to its environmental impacts.

As sustainability becomes an ever bigger factor for companies, such concerns will impact travel policies and the resultant volume of air travel conducted.

Seems like quite a sensible idea. Let the airlines charge the customer once the transportation has been provided, similar to hotels when you check-out. Airlines still have the ability to manage and charge penalties for no-shows, but they should likewise not charge the consumer if there are schedule ...

i wonder if Boeing would dust off the 767-300ER line and build 50 or so new ones at a good price. =)
FDX is still getting new 767-300Fs delivered as we speak. I think ANA got the last pax ones not too long ago.

Agreed, the 787-8 feels like the early proof-of-concept jet, ala the 767-200, 777-200, which was eventually pushed aside by the larger (and better economics) 767-300 and 777-300ERs.
