It will certainly help Vueling be an even more compelling operator at Orly. They already serve something like 20 markets from ORY albeit half are Spanish.

I recall reading prior they would be shrinking the 777 fleet as well and could restructure the narrowbody fleet and pending Airbus orders also.

PAL seems to be in that club of airlines having ongoing chronic financial issues over the last few decades.

I am not sure DPS especially medium/long-haul is the market GA as a full-service legacy carrier should be fighting for. Its virtually entirely a seasonal leisure market.
