Re: United Adds Lewiston-DEN, and Seasonal Bishop- SFO, DEN, LAX (Skywest)

With BIH being at 4000'msl vs. MMH @ 7000'msl, I'm sure the runway takeoff performance is much better. Maybe a 737/A320 could get in there with some limitations if the resort biz really takes off (pun intended).

Boeing ACAPS can be a bit misleading. That range is for MAX ZFW and the 789 has a limit of 5250 and 772ER has a 5800 NM max range. UA flies lots farther than that routinely. 789 SFO-BLR 1500 nm farther 772 EWR-BOM 1000 nm farther. So, the 78X would not be restricted to 4200 nm. It routinely flies T...

It’s amazing how many want to stick a fork in the “ancient” 777A model but seemingly gloss over the fact they have 757RR that are older and need replacement but instead, somehow age in reverse on this site and constantly billed as “pretty new”. European airlines want EU to scrap EU261 compensation rules

Europe’s top airlines are seeking to overturn European Union compensations laws after being compelled to pay out more than 10 billion euros ($12 billion) in refunds over the last year.
