Re: Ireland needs airspace defence capability

Firstly, the ROI has NOT shown any interest. Secondly, the number of people having Irish connections in the RAF is probably greater than most other Air Forces. Therefore probably more Irish Typhoon Pilots/Support Crew than say Irish F35 Pilots/Support Crew. It is unlikely that Ireland will have the ...

Blerg Couple of points; 1. The information shown on member profiles is pretty limited. 2. In the UK, fired means dismissed. I assume you mean redundant. 3. I imagine that in any country with labour rights that making a load of Q400 pilots redundant and then hiring a load of A320 pilots is probably i...

Re: Unverified: Fiji Airways skips 737 MAX quality inspections.

As stated above, 2 MAX were delivered before the grounding

I would be concerned if the checks were missing on those.

If the full checks WERE done on those, why is this one different.

One possibility is that these checks will be made once the other issues have been dealt with.

Thirdly, how will a journalist make contact.

I doubt that those working at Renton would view the OP in a positive light.

In comparing journey times people forget two points.

1. At least as many destinations will be closer to the CBD than the Airport.

2. If you have a ticket you can arrive at the Station 5 minutes before departure. Also getting from your seat to the exit is quicker by train.
