RE: Aviation Sunglass Help

IMOH....I go for the cheapest shades. I have left numerous pairs behind, so now, I just buy $15.00 sunglasses. I buy the kind I use for fishing - polarized....really great at reducing glare and brighten up the outside as well. Since I've moved to "el'cheapo" shades, I've lost fewer pairs (1 in the l...

This happens because Newton said it does. That's what my 6th grade science teacher said.

I just had to add a little bit of light hearted fun to this thread.

Falcon 10 DOES use a tiller for nose wheel steering......Still trying to find out about the Jet Commander. It probably does, since the Westwind does - I forgot about that, I used to tow a Westwind quite a bit back in the day when we had one based out of our hangar.

As far as I know, the only requirement would be that the component didn't cause an unsafe condition. I know that just anything can be tested, so as long as the thing met these standards, put it on. The cost of these test's are why most folks draw the limit.

If you had the money, you could learn to fly what ever you wanted to from ZERO time. As several people have said though, for an aircraft, you would still need the required minimum crew members. BTW, good luck finding insurance to cover you if you have "0" hours, and want to buy a VLJ to learn to fly...
