For the second time in five minutes I'll point somebody to Departed Flights. AA timetables as far back as 1969. Eastern to 1972. DL 1973, Pan Am 1973, TWA 1972, UA 1972. http://www.departedflights.com/timetables.html If you find his question tedious, then don't answer it. You aren't obligated. Rela...
Jump to postIt's interesting to see AA continue to cut a key west coast trunk route - PHX-SFO. I've been flying this route for years and it's fluctuated between 4-5x per day on 321s and now down to 3x
Jump to postDoes anyone know how PHX-LHR is doing? I've flown it twice and J cabin has been nearly full except for 1 or 2 empty seats.
Jump to postThis is just based on pax numbers, no idea what percentage is O/D vs connections. Question - when AA brings widebodies to PHX like the a330, what gates do they use? I haven’t seen one myself, but I would guess high-B since most of A and low B seem configured for narrowbody only. Anyone know?
Jump to postThe closest SFO-MIA departure to around that time of day is AA flight 383, which departs SFO at 12:48 pm: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/AAL383 However, that flight is on the 767, so maybe that's what you saw...? Jump to postAfter I landed at SFO on Saturday, I saw an AA 777 departing from T2 at about 1:00pm. I tried to see where it was going, but couldn't figure it out. At best, I think it was the 12:44pm departure to MIA, but can't confirm. We've seen the A330 and 787 lately, but not the 777. Anybody know?
Jump to postI don't know the exact answer to your question, but AF flies the A380 from MEX. My assumption is that the A380 can takeoff from MEX on the 10-11 hour segments just fine. I don't know in comparison to the 77W and on the 14+ hour segment, but an interesting question.
Jump to postI flew UA 764 from EWR-FCO in 2014. It has a BusinessFirst cabin (no first class since these were legacy CO) with 180-degree lie flat seats. The seats were of the last CO BusinessFirst seat which pretty much is what went into the 787 deliveries.

Jump to postOver the years, I've noticed that while planes are parked at the gate, you will often see the rudder cocked to one side (seems like always with the 777). Why do pilots do this?
Thanks in advance.
