In this article (in Dutch, sorry for that), they speak about the 9 employees. Is this a mistake? 9 seems, even for a small airline like Air Antwerp, a very low number... Or does this not include the crew? https://www.vrt.be/vrtnws/nl/2021/06/11/corona-nekt-air-antwerp-luchtvaartmaatschappij-houdt-h...Jump to post

This situation makes me think of this: What if one set of crew operates the outbound flight, and another crew flies along on that same flight as passenger (business class, maybe, so that they can get a good rest). Would they be allowed to operate the return flight, bringing the 1st crew immediately ...Jump to post
Supposedly a Russian investor is looking into restarting Air Italy amidst the protest of the 1350 staff who were laid off with Sukhoi and A321LR aircraft and a base at OLB. How long are crew and plane staying in the Falklands?
Do they have to stay in quarantaine in their hotel rooms (in Stanley, I suppose) due to Covid?
The ties between Grlasgow and Icelandair are indeed quite strong.
So strong that after the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull in 2010, when their homebase was closed, they moved their hub operations temporarily to Glasgow...
This being Argentina, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a requirement of the FA's union. Keep in mind the same crew flies both legs of the flight. In any case it is not a full 10-strong cabin crew, just 2-3 max. Nothing to do with Argentina. This a safety requirement, as the cabin is not of a cargo p...Jump to post

Yes, it certainly makes sense with the explanation of which mission had been planned for years, it was just my confusion that made me think the specific chartering had been planned for years. I assume also Gonzalo that LH wouldn't have any other planes to make it non-stop, and avoiding any stopover...Jump to post
Brussels Airlines did not exist then, it was Sabena back then. They indeed flew there.
But yes, Brussels Airlines, once they took over, flew to THF as well, until the airport closed. Were they not one of the last airlines to leave?
Thanks for the replies so far.Jump to post
Hi all, was just thinking, with the decrease in demand for pax traffic due to Covid19, and the increase in cargo, would it make sense to rearrange pax aircraft into combi aircraft? Like: keep the first cabin compartments of an A330/340/350 for pax and the last compartment for cargo with seats remove...Jump to post
What planes are they using to BUD and PRG? I suppose Wizz Air resumed BUD-EIN so that could be one reason why KLM resume BUD. Are there any quarantine restrictions in Hungary and the Netherlands? I know they have them in The Czech Republic. Here in Hungary the rule is that people can enter the coun...Jump to post

LH now has 5 flights each to AKL and CHC on their website. They will operate daily from 06APR to 10APR (depature from NZL). Amazing! Flights to AKL will be all A380, to CHC all 744. Refueling at BKK both ways. Hope we get a lot of pictures and first hand information about the big LH crane visiting ...Jump to post

Thanks all. Airfleets I knew, but what I mean is more a site about a specific airline or airline group. The examples I gave were specifically for the LH-group airlines with some inside info that you can not find on airfleets etc. (like ctive, [email protected], [email protected], based at FRA or MUC, actual ...Jump to post

A few weeks ago an ex-VS A346 was delivered to Azman Air in Nigeria from BOH (in an especially weird configuration), might this be what's happening to the others? Out of curiosity, what was so weird about the configuration? Loads of hand-me-down VS economy seats (in various different styles if I re...Jump to post
